Child Safety Policy

Last updated: 12/18/2025

Vvaago is committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment for all users, especially minors. This Child Safety Policy outlines our comprehensive approach to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), addressing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and ensuring compliance with all applicable child safety laws and regulations.

1. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

Vvaago explicitly prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including but not limited to:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form, including visual, audio, or written content
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any predatory behavior toward minors
  • Sexualization of minors or content that exploits children
  • Facilitating or encouraging harmful interactions with minors
  • Any content, communication, or behavior that endangers child safety

Violation of this policy results in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities.

2. CSAM Prevention and Response

Prevention Measures:

  • Age Verification: Minimum age requirement of 13 years, enforced during account creation
  • Mutual Friends Only: Users can only connect with people they mutually know, reducing stranger contact
  • No Public Posting: All content is private to mutual friend circles, preventing public exploitation
  • Daily Limits: 3 photos per day limit prevents excessive sharing and potential exploitation
  • Content Monitoring: Automated and manual review systems for detecting inappropriate content

Response Procedures:

  • Immediate Removal: Suspected CSAM is removed immediately upon detection
  • Account Suspension: Users involved in CSAM are permanently banned
  • Law Enforcement Reporting: All CSAM incidents are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local authorities
  • Evidence Preservation: Relevant evidence is preserved for law enforcement investigations

3. Age Verification and Eligibility

Vvaago requires all users to be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum legal age of digital consent in their jurisdiction if higher.

Our age verification process includes:

  • Age declaration during account registration
  • Terms of Service acknowledgment confirming age eligibility
  • Account review and verification for suspected underage users
  • Immediate account termination for users under the minimum age

We provide multiple ways for users to report child safety concerns:
